I Was a Teenage Photographer

In 1982 when I left school and started at the local technical college, my mum bought me a second-hand Olympus OM1 which I mainly used to photograph my social life – they make a fascinating record (of the hairstyles) of this period from 1982 to 1984 in London and the suburbs. As the decade moved on, my OM1 was stolen and I used various other cameras to take the images in the slideshows below.
